INSTRUCTION

1

Step 1

Prepare all the ingredients. Be sure to use dry, crumbly cottage cheese; soft cheese won’t work. The higher the fat content, the tastier the cheese pancakes will be.

2

Step 2

Mash the cottage cheese with a fork.

3

Step 3

Mix with egg, sugar, and vanilla.

4

Step 4

Then add 90 g of flour and stir.

5

Step 5

The cheese mixture should be neither too dry nor too wet. With your hands moistened in water, take a small amount of the mixture, roll it into a ball, then crush the ball with your palms and shape the cheese patty into a flat form.

6

Step 6

Coat the formed syrniki with flour.

7

Step 7

Heat the oil in a skillet and, over medium heat, fry the syrniki—starting with one side—until a golden crust forms.

8

Step 8

Then flip it and fry it until it develops a golden crust.

9

Step 9

lace the finished syrniki on paper towels to remove any excess fat.

10

Step 10

Serve with sour cream.
