Açaí na tigela — popular Brazilian dish made from frozen and mashed açaí berries blended into a thick, smoothie-like base. This base is then served in a bowl and traditionally topped with ingredients such as granola, banana, and sometimes guarana syrup.
INGREDIENTS
Frozen Açaí puree (1 x 100g)
2.00 pack
Frozen Banana
1.00 piece
Frozen Mixed Berries
0.50 cup
Granola
1.00 handful
Honey or agave syrup
1.00 tbsp
INSTRUCTION
1
Place a banana in your blender with your sweetener of choice, and a splash of liquid - blend together. Guarana syrup is typically used in Brazil to sweeten these for it's nice caffeine boost.
2
Break frozen packets of frozen Açaí pulp into fragments and toss into blender. We use two to create a really creamy, sorbet-like texture. If you choose to use one, make sure not to use too much liquid in the above step so it stays thick!
3
Pour the mixture into a bowl and top with sliced fruit and a handful of granola. Then add flax seeds, hemp seed, chia seeds.
4
Ready to eat in under 10 minutes! Enjoy. P.S. If you want to get really decadent (and don't need to count calories), pour a little bit of condensed milk on top before serving!
